Seventh, Eighth and Ninth Series

The Seventh Series was a Land/Water Quad with two retired stations.

The Seventh was run into a big valley. The dogs dropped down a
steep hill on route to each mark. There was a flyer off the picture
close left and thrown away from the rest of the test. The next
station (first line on left) was retired. In the far field center
there was another flyer. The fourth bird was retired to the right.
There is water in a winding creek across the center of the test
.

The sun setting again broke the Seventh Series and it was completed the next morning.

The Eighth Series was a water blind.

The blind line started on a grassy knoll, went over a gravel road, down a steep hill and into the water. Near the end there was another required piece of water, left of the major water, and then the dogs had to drive up the hill.
In the photo the blind planter stood out to show the handlers the end.

The Ninth Series was a Land Quad with two retired stations and an honor.

The first bird down, retired, was on the crest of a far hillside.  Another retired mark was almost on the same line at the base of the hill.  To the left was a flyer shot near the top of another hill.  The last bird down was a flyer at a significant angle to the right thrown to the right on another grassy hill.

Seen in the judges tent are the co-heads of the Marshals Gary Zellner and Gary Ahlgren. With them is Suzanne King who frequently plays a major volunteer role at Nationals.
