Mike Lardy Retriever Training Workshops are designed for individuals who wish to refine
their retriever training skills based on Mike’s approach and philosophy of training.
Workshops consist of 8-10 dogs with their handlers and up to approximately twenty observers.
The content of each workshop is personalized and based on the goals, needs, and interests of
the participants. They are not just a repeat of the tape/manual packages. Mike builds on the
information in the tapes and manuals and provides an in-depth understanding as well as problem
solving techniques.
Basic/Transition - February 21-24, 2008 - Georgia
Four Days - Focus on dogs from force fetch to simple cold blinds following Mike’s flow chart.
Development of marking skills and problem solving techniques designed to effectively and positively
advance your dog. Restricted numbers for Handlers and Observers.
Advanced Training and Competition - June 26-29, 2008 - Wisconsin
Four Days - Focus on strategies for advanced training and handling for Field Trial All-Age
competition and Master Hunters. Dogs must be doing blinds with factors on land and water,
hidden and/or retired guns and multiples on land and water. Restricted Numbers for Handlers
and Observers.
