It is advised to make motel reservations early.

Wisconsin
Located in Central Wisconsin between Montello and Princeton about 80 miles north of Madison. A map will be sent with acceptances.
Participants can fly into Madison (one hour drive), Appleton (one and one-half hours drive), or Milwaukee (two hours drive). Some who wish to avoid transferring between planes have used O'Hare near Chicago (three hours drive) or Green Bay (two hours drive) or Minneapolis (four hours
drive).
Make reservations for rental vehicles early since there are limited numbers
available.
Montello has many places to eat as well as grocery stores and deli’s to pick up lunches.

between Montello and Princeton on Hwy 23; has an excellent restaurant that is a must for Friday Night fish fry; dormitory type rooms as well as camping type cabins. They rent canoes and have other recreation if you are staying longer.

The Hilltop

The old 800 number is no longer valid. There are new owners that are not as dog friendly as the prior ones. It is across from a gas station and next to a small restaurant for breakfasts. Location is on Hwy 22 about a mile north of Hwy 23 at the east end of Montello.

It is on Hwy 23 West. right in Montello near the curve going west out of town. Reasonable rates, clean and nice with 15 rooms. Dogs allowed if you tell them ahead.

10 miles out of Montello at 39/51 and Highway 23; Has 14 rooms. Reasonable cost and excellent airing in a rural setting. Tell them ahead if you have dogs. In the past they have been very supportive of workshop participants, who found it was worth the extra ten mile drive each day.

The Workshop is located near Boston, Georgia; a small town in southern Georgia eleven miles east of Thomasville. Thomasville has many nice restaurants, several motels, and numerous other stores and
services.
Participants can fly into Tallahassee, FL (one hour) or Valdosta, GA (one hour). While a greater distance, some have used Atlanta (four hours) or Jacksonville (four hours) since there are often direct
flights.
Make reservations for rental vehicles early since there are limited numbers

They are not as dog friendly as they used to be. Small airing area. The location is mid-town about 12 miles from the Workshop site. Breakfast from 6-10 AM included.

They are dog friendly and do not charge extra nightly fees for dogs. Large airing area behind motel. If you have a dog, ask for a room to the rear for easy access to airing. The location is mid-town and about 12 miles from the Workshop site. There is a 6-10 AM breakfast included.

Dogs are allowed but all surrounding area is cement and airing difficult. The location is mid-town and about 12 miles from the Workshop site. There is a 6-10 AM breakfast included.
There are many other motels in town at varying prices. Be cautious that some of the ones not listed raise their rates significantly for weekends. The above three are where most end up staying.
All motels might charge a deposit when you have a dog. With some it is refundable when room is looked at in check-out. Others keep the money for extra cleaning. Please check to see what the current situation is regarding dogs where you call since rules change frequently.
All motels fill quickly so early reservations are recommended.
